The WA Centre for Rural Health (WACRH) of The University of Western Australia are establishing a pool of casual Aboriginal Male Yarning Co-Facilitators (aged 18 +) for the Midwest Yurla Wangga (Men Talking) Family Domestic Violence (FDV) Primary Prevention Towards Ending Violence project to be delivered in Geraldton, Mullewa and Northampton.
Key skills required:
- Excellent verbal skills
- Good knowledge of local Aboriginal communities
- Some experience in yarning circles
- Some knowledge of FDV Primary Prevention.
Rate of pay - Level 3 Step 1 $33.03 per hour.
WACRH will provide some training and introduction to the FDV Primary Prevention Project.
