We were thrilled to this week host Joanne Hutchinson, CEO of the Australia Rural Health Education Network (ARHEN) based in Canberra, and Lisa Dalton, Director of University of Tasmania Centre for Rural Health from Launceston, to our Geraldton office.

With a full itinerary of activities, they visited our students working with clients at Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service, student accommodation, learnt about our programs and partnerships, and attended a student-led Interprofessional Learning session. It was wonderful to share morning tea and hear Joanne's insightful presentation to staff.

The WA Centre for Rural Health at UWA is one of 19 University Departments of Rural Health (UDRH) across rural and remote Australia who are members of the national association ARHEN, whose purpose is to promote the health and wellbeing of people in rural and remote Australia by delivering high-quality health education, research and advocacy

Thank you to everyone who joined us in welcoming them before they continued to the ARHEN AGM and Board Meeting in Broome.
