Professional Background:

Physiotherapist since 1979, originally at Lewisham Hospital run by “Little Company of Mary”. After 1 year moved to Calvary Hospital Canberra, run by the same company, as my family was in Canberra at the time.

After10 years seeing general hospital, fracture clinic, orthopaedics and sports injuries moved to UK in 1990. 

Spent approx. 1 year as a community Physio.

Returned to Australia in 1992, to WA.  

Resumed part time Physio work mainly in aged care.

Currently working as a contract Physiotherapist and at WACRH as a Lecturer and in Health & Safety

Physiotherapist 1 day a week for MS Society of WA

Physiotherapist 2 half days a week for Opal Aged Care at Geraldton Nursing Home

Physiotherapist for RSL Care as required

H&S Officer WACRH Geraldton 1 day a week

Lecturer and Physiotherapy Student Supervisor 2 days a week at WACRH

Physiotherapy Student Supervisor at WACRH

Sept 2013  to  present

Manual handling instructor for any staff requiring it, at Geraldton Nursing Home or RSL Care.

Includes trained staff eg. Nurses.

Australian Physiotherapy Association ACT Chapter, member from 1982 to 1990.

National Education Representative, Secretary/treasurer of OHS Group. 1984-1990

Chartered Society of Physiotherapists UK, 1991-92.

Australian Physiotherapy Association WA Branch 2001-present

Head Physiotherapist Calvary Hospital 1986-1990

Physiotherapist to 1984 World Deaf Games, LA

Physiotherapist to wheelchair contingent at 1998 Seoul Paralympics
